Join Sarah Martin Montross for a three-part series on Arm Balances, her personal favorite category of yoga poses. Famous yogi BKS Iyengar said that balancing on the arms teaches you tolerance, which is absolutely true! You'll also learn how to harness your your inner power to find flight and the humility to approach the postures with reverence.
The series consists of three consecutive Saturdays which can be taken as standalone workshops, though the workshops will build on one another and Sarah recommends taking all three if your schedule permits. Each Saturday will focus on a related grouping of arm balances. You'll open your hips, strengthen your core, and explore all the ways your arms support you. You'll also see connections between arm balances and transitions to move from pose to pose. All levels are welcome and a sense of humor is required.
