About Emily

Emily fell in love with the BIG community after moving to Denver from New York City in 2021. Originally from Columbus, OH, Emily received her 200 Hr teacher training from GIVE Yoga in Clintonville, Ohio, and has loved every day of teaching since! Being a dancer her entire life, Emily has always found a way to express herself through movement. After her professional dancing career in NYC came to an end, she felt ready to find a new way to express and share with others, which led to her yoga career! Emily is currently working her dream job of Community Director at BIG Denver and truly loves every single day connecting with her community. In addition to yoga, Emily loves live music, reading, and adventure!

What Emily's Students Say

Emily’s classes are the highlights of my week for one main reason: Emily! Emily is a strong yogi, energetic leader, welcoming friend, and a fun, sweet soul. She puts so much time and dedication into her work, yet her positive energy makes it all seem effortless. Emily’s classes push you in the best way, and you will leave feeling empowered and strong! - Cam Ferris

Emily brings joy, happiness, kindness, and strength to her class. I love how honest and authentic and genuine she is when she shares at the beginning of the class. I'm inspired, moved and touched by her by wanting to do the same for others and help heal in their own journeys, as she’s done mine. Pay it forward. Every class, meditation, and savasana, I always find something new about myself and have more self awareness of who I am in this world and who I can be in this world. She makes me a better human being. - Vandy Sein
