Types of Yoga

At BIG, we primarily practice Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga, an all-levels heated flow style created by Baron Baptiste. Additionally, we offer several other types of classes to help you create full self-expression in your practice. From the quiet, contemplative BIG Yin class to the adventurous SUP Yoga class, we have a full spectrum of awesome options. Read on for class descriptions and more information.

Powerful Flow is an energizing and challenging all-levels class based on the
Baptiste Journey Into Power sequence. Powerful Flow classes are heated to 90-95 degrees. Our schedule includes 60, 75 and 90-minute Powerful Flow classes. Expect to move, sweat and leave transformed! 

Powerful Flow Jams is just like Powerful Flow, set to an intentional,
badass playlist.

Our $5 New Teacher Class is a Powerful Flow class taught by recent graduates from our BIG Teacher Empowerment Program. Powerful "Glow" Flow is a late-night, all-levels Powerful Flow class based on the Baptiste Journey Into Power sequence. This class is candle-lit and designed to help you rinse out and unwind. All Powerful Flow classes are heated to 90-95 degrees. Join us for the perfect end to your day!

Give BIG is our donation-based community class. Each month we feature a local charity up to something BIG in our community. Members can use their class packages to attend, or pay-what-you-can for a drop-in. ALL money collected goes towards our featured charity.

A Saturday night heated flow class embodying one of our core values: FUN! You’ll sweat, shake your booty, and just have a good ol' time. Big Yoga will supply some wine and other tasty treats for after class, and please feel free to BYOB as well! Let's party!

Bhakti Beats is a lightly-heated (85 degrees) flow class, focusing on linking breath and movement, accompanied by live music from the Ganesh Express. It is a breath-filled, musically elevated, sweaty experience that's not to be missed.

Yin yoga is a quiet, contemplative practice that bypasses muscles in order to tap into the connective tissues of the hips, thighs, pelvis and lower spine to overall increase vitality of the body and breath. Poses are held for 3-5 minutes, offering a perfect balance to a powerful "yang" lifestyle and our Powerful Flow practice. Classes take place in an unheated room.

A non-heated, deliberate flow grounded in alignment principles. This comprehensive 90-minute class incorporates yoga philosophy, applying it to life's daily challenges to leave you invigorated and energized while at the same time feeding your heart and soul.

A lightly heated vinyasa class that focuses on cultivating mindfulness and enhancing awareness. Using an intentional and deliberate sequence, you will be led to a peak pose in each class. Appropriate for all levels, this class offers you vigor, restoration, and connection.

A lightly-heated (85 degrees) vinyasa flow class with music. Every class is different as we progressively build a creative sequence of poses that climaxes into a fluid and energetic breath-centered flow. This class provides a well-rounded and challenging practice with an emphasis on breath, proper alignment, mind-body-soul connection, and fullest personal expression.

BIG Kids Yoga


Kids Yoga is a fun class that helps children explore movement and breath in a supportive and non-competitive environment. Read more about the benefits of yoga for kids. We offer specific class times for toddlers, kids aged 3 to 7 and kids from 8 to 12. We also offer birthday parties, kids and family workshops, 40 days programs, and summer camps! All kids’ classes coincide with an adults’ class, so parents can get their practice in at the same time.

Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Yoga


Whether you are an experienced yogi, an experienced paddler, or have no experience in either, BIG SUP Yoga is a fun
and out-of-the-box practice that brings together yoga and SUP on the glimmering waters of 288 Lake. At BIG SUP Yoga,
we have everything you need to feel supported, safe and have a totally empowering yoga experience!
You will be surrounded by nature and a supportive community as you take your practice to a new edge.
